The production and packing departments
are equipped with the most sophisticated state-of the art machinery guaranteeing automated production in absolute hygienic conditions. The sterile area for the production of injections are considered to be the most pioneering in the country.
Every stage of production is constantly monitored, from the supplying of Raw Materials up to the release of the finished product, sealing, simultaneously, a strict compliance policy towards the principles of the current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) that run the modern pharmaceutical industry.

Production Management
Adelco has four physically separate production areas (Clean Areas), with separate entrances & Air Handling Units, exist in the Manufacturing Plant:
- Solids Manufacturing Area (Bulk Products: Tablets, Coated Tablets & Capsules). Uses an area of approximately 375 m2. Completely renovated with panels in 2015.
- Effervescents Tableting & filling Area (Effervescent Tablets). Uses an area of approximately 25 m2. Completely renovated with panels in 2013.
- Sterile Manufacturing Area (Sterile Small Volume Liquids in Ampules). Uses an area of approximately 300 m2. Completely renovated with panels in 2017.
- Creams, Liquids, Nasals Production Area & Primary & Secondary Packaging Area (Finished Products of all produced Forms). Uses an area of approximately 850m2. The packaging area has been completely renovated in 2019.
There is a Primary & Secondary Packaging Area where almost all the pharmaceutical forms are packaged, before their transfer to the Finished product Warehouse.
